This past November, I worked with a rescue in Southern CA to pull 7 puppies that were due to be euthanized at a kill shelter in Coachella. The puppies arrived in Vermont and I have been fostering them since—and trying to find them homes. I have placed three but still have four whowould love nothing more than to find their forever home.

A few things about these sweet pups: There are four males, all black with patches of white. They are 9 months, between 30-40 pounds and still growing—as sweet as can be, great with recall and just truly big loves. They are all crate trained, 90 percent house-trained. I take them all hiking often and never have to use a leash. Some of them are a bit leery of strangers, but just need time to warm up to new people.

They’re joined by Bella, a German Shepherd mix I've been fostering for two years. She is pure love, absolutely loves her human and likes to stay close on walks, is timid around new people but when she warms up, is very loving. I used to take her to daycare in Woodstock and she did really well there; the staff fell in love with her. She does not do well with little dogs however. I have a small dog mix and I can not have them interact. Great with bigger dogs.

The adoption process involves a small fee (half of what rescues/shelters charge), an application and a home visit.

And if you are not looking to add a puppy to your family, would you please share this with your friends? Thank you!!!
