The 2022 New Hampshire primary is Tuesday, September 13, and in case you could use a hand figuring things out…
If you need to look up where to vote, you’ll find it on the Secretary of State’s website here.
The Secretary of State’s office also makes it easy to figure out what you’re going to be looking at when you get into the voting booth. You can see a sample ballot for whichever party’s primary you intend to vote in, by town, here.
Probably the most overall useful guide to the candidates for federal, statewide, Executive Council, and state legislative contests comes from Citizens Count, the non-partisan non-profit dedicated to giving NH citizens the tools the need to make decisions. Their election guide includes the stances of many of the candidates on particular issues, though not all responded to the group’s questionnaire. There are also links to videos or audio of various debates for US Senate and US House among the Republican candidates vying to challenge Democratic incumbents.
Meanwhile, the Valley News has been profiling select primary contests, including several state House and Senate districts in Sullivan and Grafton counties, along with the Executive Council District 2 contest.
And WMUR has pulled together a set of “On the Issues” profiles of the candidates in both parties for governor and US Senate and in the 1st and 2nd congressional districts.
