Introduction to Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a training of the mind that has been scientifically proven to help reduce stress, worry, depression, pain and discomfort; to improve concentration, self-esteem and relationships; to break unhealthy habits, and so much more.
Announcing an upcoming 6-week beginner’s course starting March 24th. Explore and practice mindfulness meditation with a supportive teacher and like-minded people. Get your questions answered and individualized guidance as you learn to apply mindfulness to your thoughts and emotions.
The standard fee for the 6-week course is $100. A sliding scale and full scholarships are available on the basis of financial hardship.

About the instructor: Jennifer is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst with close to 30 years of clinical experience and many years of meditation experience. She is currently a student in the 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program, and this course is being offered in partial fulfillment of program requirements. Mindfulness meditation is not a replacement for psychotherapy, and may not be suitable for everyone. Feel free to contact Jennifer with questions or concerns.
