For years, audio journalist Frances Mize has been part of the little “microculture” of locals who like to park and watch planes take off and land at the Lebanon Airport. Recently, though, she joined the object of their attention: a flight from White Plains back to Lebanon. And since she was there, she decided to spend some time with the people who work there—in the tower and in the lobby. Here’s what she heard…
